OK GO at the LACMA

You’ve all heard of OK Go before, maybe not by their actual band name, but you’ve seen them. They’re the band with the treadmill music video. Now it’s ringing a bell, right? Well they released another awesome video which is making it’s way across the Internet.

I got the opportunity to visit the LACMA on OK Go’s VIP guest list thanks to Michelle, who just seems to know people. OK Go had it’s video release party in the penthouse and exhibited parts of the Rube Goldberg machine used in the video.

Colorful flags and mouse traps. Pachinko machine in the background.

It’s mini OK Go!

OK Go LEGO!

Playing glasses of water with a guitar.

Paint covered jumpsuits.

OK Go even performed a live acoustic set. They said it wasn’t originally going to be an acoustic set, but Dan was in Mexico so a full performance was impossible.

Here it Goes Again, better known as the treadmill music video song.

They covered the Pixies’ Wave of Mutilation.

The song for the video release party. This Too Shall Pass.

Streetlights, people living just to find emotion. Hiding somewhere in the night.
