Downright Depressing

When I was younger I wanted to rule the world. Today I just want to own my own house in Southern California. Back then, ruling the world seemed so much easier than this other goal.

Being grown up sucks.

  1. I agree. I miss those days. Ruling the world seemed more like a right than a goal, too.

Now I’m just excited for when I can not live paycheck to paycheck. Totalitarian dictators probably never had to put up with crap like credit scores.

  2. When I was a tweenager, I thought I could see how things were going to play out. I knew things were complicated, but I thought that as I got older it would get easier because I would understand more.

God, was I wrong. It’s only getting worse.

  3. What are you guys paying for housing in your areas? The way I figure it, I can afford a house with bars on the windows. Then I play the game of see who shows up first after the gun shots, the squad cars or the helicopters.
