A Typical Christmas or Atypical Christmas?

I always wonder what other people’s holiday celebrations are like. My family is pretty low key. We try to use it as excuse to get the extended family together for a meal, but if we don’t we don’t sweat it. It’s just another day in life.

This was all that was left over from our Christmas Eve dinner. It was a quiet dinner with my parents, my brother, and his wife.

Our holiday setup. My mom is already trying to pawn these houses off on my brother, because she doesn’t have the room to store them.

Wow. The Double Tree Hotel cleans up nicely.

Mmm, fresh waffles. I had to try a bit of everything.

Desserts. Lots of desserts.

Santa Claus was even there, and apparently Santa is from Texas. While I was playing with my camera he said, “Don’t forget the cap, partner.”

Other than what you see here, Christmas has been spent watching movies and  playing video games with my brother in hopes to one up the other for our father’s love. So far I’m winning.

Tomorrow is back to work for me. I’m sure you’ll hear me bitching about it on Twitter and Facebook. Merry Christmas, everyone!
